Kaitlyn, a passionate music educator, has been sharing her love of music with students since 2012. She founded Tilghman's Academy of Music in 2018, further solidifying her commitment to music education. With experience teaching band, orchestra, and general music classes in public elementary and middle schools, Kaitlyn has developed a comprehensive approach to music instruction. A skilled multi-instrumentalist, Kaitlyn began her musical journey playing clarinet in elementary school and later added flute and saxophone to her repertoire. Her dedication and talent earned her first chair and section leader positions in her high school clarinet section. She continued to hone her craft in college, performing in the jazz band. Kaitlyn's diverse musical experience encompasses orchestras, musical theatre, jazz bands, and contemporary styles. She has also conducted various ensembles across the country, demonstrating her expertise and leadership in music education. In 2024, Kaitlyn expanded her teaching portfolio by joining the music faculty at Sioux Falls Christian schools, furthering her impact on the musical lives of her students.​
