Zoe is a dramatic coloratura soprano, harpist and composer.  She is a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and is a MA Candidate at the University of Birmingham UK in vocal research.  She has been on the roster of the CT Commission on Culture and Tourism since 2011, and  has been a recipient of the Dame Joan Sutherland Fund, MTNA Foundation Grant, CT Office of the Arts Grant, and many others.  Ms. Zoe has given solo performances internationally at the Rio International Harp Festival at Sao Paulo, Glasgow International Early Music Festival, International Festival de Deia Spain, and nationally at the American Swedish Historical Museum in Philadelphia, Carnegie Hall, Palace of Legion of Honor San Francisco, Bloomington Early Music Festival, HarpCon2003 Convention Indiana, Symphony Space NYC, and the American Harp Society. Her two solo CDs with Centaur records are slated to be released in 2022.  

 

Ms. Vandermeer teaches singing (pop, musical theatre, opera, singer-songwriter), harp (lever and historical harp), piano, music theory, songwriting, and audition, performance, and recording preparation.
